The CQ-10B SnowGoose is an unmanned gyrocopter developed by MMIST of Ottawa, Canada designed for small unit re-supply of up to 2400 lbs in 24 hrs (1088 Kg/24 hrs) over a 93 mile (150 Km) radius from base. The UAV is capable of transporting 500 pounds of cargo over 200 miles. The CQ-10B has been developed under a program in the Office of Naval Research's (ONR) Expeditionary Maneuver Warfare and Combating Terrorism Department. The aircraft's first flight was in April 2015.
Two prototype vehicles will be delivered to ONR to support testing which could be applied to Marine Corps operations.
