Israeli Aircraft Industries' Panther tilt-rotor unmanned air system flies quietly with three electric motors for up to six hours. In September 2012, the company announced the UAV will be configured for shipboard operations. The aircraft carries a electro-optical/infrared cameras, and a laser designator and range-finder. IAI also offers the 12 kg Mini-Panther, which has a similar payload but endurance of approximately two hours.
At the 2013 Paris Air Show, Israeli sources revealed that Israel's Navy will evaluate the aircraft for use on its ships.
